Holy Bible

We believe the Bible, and only the Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. The Bible, in its original writing, is both inspired and inerrant. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.

God

We believe there is only one true living God who is the creator of all things. We believe that God is eternal and that he revealed himself as one God existing in three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
DEUTERONOMY 6:4; JOHN 14:9; COLOSSIANS 2:9; I TIMOTHY 3:16

Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man and is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He was born of a virgin, performed miracles, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, rose again to life on the third day, and ascended to heaven according to the Scriptures. We also believe he will return in power and glory.
JOHN 1:1,14; 1 TIMOTHY 3:16; ISAIAH 9:6; PHILIPPIANS 2:5-6; 1 TIMOTHY 2:5

Sin

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and his purpose for our lives.
ROMANS 3:23; ROMANS 1:18-32; EPHESIANS 4:18; I TIMOTHY 2:5

Repentance

We believe repentance is the commitment to turn away from sin in every area of our lives and to follow Christ, which allows us to receive His redemption and to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. So, through repentance, we receive forgiveness of sins and salvation.
ACTS 2:21; 3:19; 1 JOHN 1:9

Salvation

We believe that we receive salvation, the forgiveness of our sins, and reconciliation to God by grace through faith in Jesus. We believe salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts.
EPHESIANS 2:8-9; TITUS 3:5; ROMANS 10:9-10; ACTS 16:31

Jesus Christ Indwells All Believers

We believe that Christians are those who have confessed with their mouth and believed in their heart that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior. By doing so, they invite the Lord Jesus Christ to live within them through His Holy Spirit and willingly surrender the authority of their lives to Him. They put their trust in what Jesus accomplished for them when He died, was buried, and rose again from the dead.
JOHN 1:12; JOHN 14:17, 23; JOHN 15:4; ROMANS 8:11; REVELATION 3:20

Water Baptism

We believe that baptism by immersion in water is the next step in a person’s spiritual journey after placing their trust in Jesus Christ as Savior. It serves as a public identification with Jesus—symbolizing His death, burial, and resurrection. While baptism is not required for salvation, it is commanded for all believers and is intended for believers only. It is an outward demonstration of the inward transformation that comes from faith in Christ.
MATTHEW 28:19; MARK 16:16; ACTS 2:38; 8:12, 36-38; 10:47-48

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit was first given at Pentecost and is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His Ascension. It is intended to empower the Church to boldly proclaim the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Sanctification

We believe sanctification is the ongoing process of yielding to God’s Word and His Spirit in order to complete the development of Christ’s character in us. It is through the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that the Christian is empowered by grace to live a godly life.

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. The lists of spiritual gifts found in Scripture are not necessarily exhaustive, and the gifts may be expressed in various combinations. All believers are encouraged—and commanded—to earnestly desire the manifestation of these gifts in their lives. These gifts must always operate in harmony with Scripture and never in violation of its principles.

The Church

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and the dwelling place of God through the Holy Spirit. It has been divinely appointed to carry out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. Every person who is born of the Spirit is a vital part of the Church—the body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
ACTS 2:42; 4:32-35; EPHESIANS 1:22; 2:19-22; HEBREWS 12:23; JOHN 17:11, 20-23

The Lord’s Supper

We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a sacred time of communion with God, in which believers partake of bread and grape juice or wine—symbols of the body and blood of Jesus Christ. This act is done in remembrance of His sacrificial death on the cross and serves as a powerful reminder of His love and grace.
MATTHEW 26:26-29; MARK 14:22–25; LUKE 22:14–20; 1 CORINTHIANS 10:16–17, 11:23–26

Marriage

We believe marriage is defined in the Bible as a covenant, a sacred bond, between one man and one woman; instituted by and publicly entered into before God.
MATTHEW 19:4-6; EPHESIANS 5:22–27; COLOSSIANS 3:18-19; HEBREWS 13:4

Healing of the Sick

We believe healing of the sick is illustrated in the life and ministry of Jesus and included in the commission of Jesus to His disciples. Given as a sign to follow believers, it is also a part of Jesus’ work on the cross and one of the gifts of the Spirit.
PSALM 103:2-3; MATTHEW 8:16-17; MARK 16:17-18; ACTS 8:6-7; JAMES 5:14-16; 1 CORINTHIANS 12:9, 28

Resurrection

We believe Jesus Christ was physically resurrected from the dead in a glorified body on the third day after His death on the cross. In addition, both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; those that are saved to the resurrection of life and those that are lost to the resurrection of eternal damnation.

Heaven

We believe Heaven is the eternal dwelling place for all believers in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
MATTHEW 5:3, 12, 20; 6:20; 19:21; 25:34; JOHN 17:24; 2 CORINTHIANS 5:1; HEBREWS 11:16; 1 PETER 1:4

Hell

We believe that all people are accountable for their own sins and, apart from salvation, face eternal separation from God in Hell, a place of torment prepared for the Devil and the fallen angels. We believe that Jesus came to pay the debt for our sins through His death and resurrection, offering us rescue from judgment and the gift of eternal life with Him. Because of this amazing grace, we feel a deep urgency to share God’s love and the Gospel with others.
MATTHEW 25:41; MARK 9:43-48; HEBREWS 9:27; REVELATION 14:9-11; 20:12-15; 21:8

Second Coming

We believe Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. This will occur at a date undisclosed by the Scriptures.
